If she has genital vaginal piercings she must take them, and no she can NOT steam if she has an IUD inserted in her womb.
Why can't women steam with an IUD inserted?
Some IUD's are made of copper and the heat from the steam can burn, and with some IUD's birth control chemicals are time released and the steam can cause irregular release of these chemicals. In some cases vaginal steaming has dislodged the IUD. Vaginal Steaming with an IUD can cause a medical risk.

A woman's menstrual cycle is a time for cleansing and should not be interrupted. We highly suggest Vaginal Steaming a week before and a week after a woman's menstrual cycle.

The heat from the vaginal steam feeds and multiples the yeast and will make the yeast infection worst.
Can a women vaginal steam if she is experiencing Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)?
Yes. Bacterial Vaginosis is the result of dampness and an increase in bacteria and cervical mucus. Make sure to use or add herbs that clear cervical mucus (in your Goddess Steam manual) and have her vaginal steam a minimum of 3 times a week for 2 weeks this may make her discharge becomes clear, and reduce the odor. However, if her BV persist she will need to see a physician.
Can men vaginal steam?
No. Men can NOT vaginal steam because they do NOT have a vagina. However men can "A Steam" in which the steam and herbal infusion is released in the anus and can detox and and cleanse the rectum. Men should not steam more than 20 minutes on medium heat. High heat can cause a reduction in sperm mobility. Please refer to your Goddess Steam manuals Herbal Guide and choose herbs for "Sperm Count and Health."
Business Registration, Licensing, Liability
Do I need a license to operate a Vaginal Steam business?
No. You don't need a license to perform vaginal steam however you do need a business license to open a store front or a spa. check with your local city and state business offices. Also check into what are the laws for holistic health practices.
Do I go to my City Office building and apply for my business license and tell them I would like to open a Yoni (Vaginal) Steam business?
We suggest that you use tact and as little information as possible when opening your V Spa business. We live in a society that is scared of the word vagina, and when you explain what Yoni (Vaginal) Steaming is and it's procedures it can get lost in negative perception. We suggest that you state your business is a feminine wellness ministry and your services are self care. If you are a massage therapist, esthetician, cosmetologist, into waxing, lashes, eye brows, nail tech etc... you need to open under the bases of those services. Also check with your city and state concerning herbalism.
Do I need insurance to operate my vaginal steam business.
Yes. A good business owner has insurance. This protects you and the client.
Do I have to become ordained in the ministry to be a vaginal steam practitioner and open my business?
No. It is a personal choice. We suggest that you become ordained to protect you and your business under the law of the ministry. You are ordained in your feminine wellness ministry. You are not creating a church.
If I already have a salon, or spa do I need to get a license to offer vaginal steam?
No. Your salon and spa business license should cover it. You would want to continue to carry out the same health department codes, and procedures that are already in place with your existing business.
Do I need to register my business with the IRS?
Yes. You should register your business name and receive an EIN number. This will make your business a legal entity.
Do I need to add the word "Ministries" to my business name?
No, you don't. It's a personal choice. We do highly suggest that when you apply for your EIN with the IRS that you use your name and add the words "ministries" and then dba the name you would like the name of your business to be. For example, Linda Davis Ministries dba (doing business as) Beautiful Yoni Feminine Wellness Spa. This adds a level of protection in a world that doesn't understand this womb work and vagina consciousness.
Can I use the word "Womb Massage' if I offer Womb Stimulation services?
Only if you are a Licensed Massage Therapist can you use the word "Massage' when describing a "Womb Massage." It is illegal to use the word "massage" when describing your services if you are NOT a Licensed Massage Therapist. It is safest to describe your services as "Womb Stimulation" or "Womb Activation."
